Here's how to pick a date that works in your favour.

Season: fall and winter are quieter

Summer (May–September) is peak moving season in Metro Vancouver — great weather, but the busiest and hardest to book last-minute. Late fall and winter are quieter, so dates are easier to secure and crews are less rushed.

Avoid month-end if you can

Most leases turn over on the 1st, so the last and first few days of each month are in highest demand. A move in the middle of the month is usually easier to book and more flexible.

Mid-week beats the weekend

Saturdays book up first. If your schedule allows, a Tuesday–Thursday move is calmer and easier to slot in. Weekends are fine — just reserve earlier.
